RULES & REGULATIONS
OFFICE/CAMP STORE HOURS: APR. 1st thru. NOV. 3Oth: Sun. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon. - Thurs. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fri. & Sat. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; DEC. 1st thru. MAR.31ST: Sun. - Sat. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food, drinks and camping necessities are available in the camp store for purchase. Shirt and shoes are required at all times. No dogs allowed in camp store while snack bar is in operation. If coming from pool, please towel dry before entering the camp store.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: If there is a medical emergency, please dial 911.
SNACK BAR HOURS: Snack Bar is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Open Monday-Sunday. Hours of operation and menu are posted in camp store. Hours of operation are subject to change without prior notification.
QUIET HOURS: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. During this time period there should not be any loud noise that will disturb other campers.
REFUNDS: DURING YOUR STAY IF YOU DECIDE TO DEPART OUR CAMPGROUND PRIOR TO YOUR ORIGINAL DEPARTURE DATE, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
VISITORS: All visitors must register at the office. All visitors’ vehicles must be parked at entrance of campground. Additional fee will apply for visitors.
CHILDREN: CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES (including playground area, pavilion AND bath house). All children under the age of 18 must return to their camp site by 10 p.m.
PETS: Pets must be on a leash at ALL TIMES. Pets are not to be tied outside while you are not in the campground and are not to be left unattended at any time. PETS MUST BE PICKED-UP AFTER. If any pet shows aggressive behavior toward other pets or campers, you will be asked to vacate campground property. Owners should have in possession, up-to-date rabies vaccination records for pets. Pets are prohibited in the pool area, inside/outside of cabins and/or at tent sites (due to location of tent sites and no trees at the sites to allow for shade). No excessive barking allowed.
DOG RUN: Rules are posted at the dog run. The rules are for the safety of all campers and their pets and must be adhered to. Pets must be accompanied by an adult handler and not children. PICK-UP AFTER YOUR PET and dispose of bags in the trash receptacle located at entrance of campground. DO NOT LEAVE ON THE GROUND OR DISPOSE OF IN THE BATH HOUSE FACILITIES. Remember, pet waste does carry disease and can be dangerous to other pets. If you are witnessed not following the rules (i.e. not picking up after your pet), you will be asked to vacate the run. Dog run is under 24hr. surveillance.
TRASH REMOVAL: YOU ARE responsible for disposal of your own trash. We do not have trash service available. A trash receptacle and recycle bins are located at entrance area of campground. Please do not dispose of trash in fire rings or fire pit and grills (if provided). DO NOT LEAVE TRASH AT SITE.
SPEED LIMIT & ROADS: 5 mph will be enforced for the safety of all campers. No 4-wheeled recreational motorized vehicles allowed. Motorcycles are only to be used upon entering and exiting of campground. Bicycles, rollerblades, roller skates, scooters and skateboards are to be used on roads only (not on the grass) with proper safety equipment in use. PLEASE KEEP ALL VEHICLES OFF GRASS (DO NOT PARK ON GRASS).
SITES: One R.V. and one vehicle per site. One vehicle per cabin and tent site. NO MATS ALLOWED ON THE GRASS AREAS for extended periods of time (2 or more days) this will kill the grass. NO VEHICLE OR R.V. MAINTENANCE ALLOWED (i.e., NO WASHING (including windshield, REPAIRS, ETC.). Please help us maintain the cleanliness of the campground by keeping your site neat and orderly. No clotheslines at sites. PLEASE KEEP VEHICLES OFF GRASS (DO NOT PARK ON GRASS).
BATH HOUSE: Open 24 hours except from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for cleaning. Please treat bath house with respect …flush toilet after use and clean up after yourself. Your mother nor your maid work here. Also, children MUST be accompanied by an adult when using bath house facilities. Remember, other campers will be using this facility.
POOL: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. POOL HOURS: MONDAY thru. SUNDAY 11 a.m. to TBD. Hours are posted at pool entrance(s). The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. Please use bath house for restroom facilities. No disposable diapers allowed in pool. Please use swimming diapers. NO SMOKING and NO PETS allowed in pool area. NO DRINKS OR FOOD allowed in or around edge of pool. Drinks and food must be kept in gazebo and grassy areas. Additional Rules and Regulations are posted in pool area.
DELUXE CABINS: NO SMOKING is allowed in cabins. NO PETS allowed inside/outside of cabins NO EXCEPTIONS (*). If you arrive with a pet, you will be denied access to your cabin and will be charged a $20 cancellation fee. If a pet is found in the cabin, your credit card will be charged $100/pet and in addition to this fee, you will be asked to vacate the cabin immediately with no refund of any payments made for cabin stay. No outside appliances (i.e. hot plates, grills) are to be used in the cabins. This is a fire hazard. A grill is available outside of cabin for your cooking needs. Cabins are equipped with heat and air conditioning, T.V., microwave, mini-refrigerator and Keurig. Our cabins have a double bed, a set of bunk beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. Campers are responsible for bringing their own linens, blankets, towels and personal items. It is the campers’ responsibility to remove all trash from cabin when checking out. A trash receptacle is located at entrance area of campground. The cabin is to be left in the same manner as it was when you arrived. Please make sure that all electrical appliances are turned off (excluding the refrigerator) when checking out. Cabin Rules are posted in the cabin. After check-out, the cabin will be inspected. If there is any damage to cabin or its contents, your credit card will be charged for said damages, this includes smoke damage. (*)See website for further details.
LAUNDRY ROOM: Open 24 hours. Washing Machines $1.50, Dryers $1.00. Laundry supplies are available in the camp store for purchase. Be considerate to other campers, do not leave clothing in machines and be sure to clean the lint trap in the dryer.
PAVILION & FIRE PIT: If you use the pavilion, please clean up after yourself. Do not stand on tables. Do not leave trash on tables or on the ground. Do not move any furniture or other equipment that is in the pavilion. Children must be supervised while in pavilion. Games are available in pavilion for your enjoyment. Please respect property, no rough play. If property is damaged by misuse, customer will be liable for repair/replacement of property. The grill is for management use only. The community fire pit is available for your enjoyment. Please do not stand on swings. Firewood is available for sale in camp store for use in fire pit. Please do not dispose of trash in fire pit.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your camp site. NO UNDERAGE (Under 21) DRINKING ALLOWED. No open alcoholic beverage containers allowed outside of your camp site. Alcohol may be consumed in the pavilion area, however, cannot be in an open alcoholic beverage container. Remember this is a family campground. Excessive rowdiness, loudness or vulgar language is not tolerated.
SMOKING: Smoking is NOT allowed in any building or in the pool area. If you are a smoker, please dispose of tobacco products properly, not on the ground.
GOLF CARTS: Golf Carts are permitted with the completion of the Golf Cart Liability Waiver. Proof of insurance must be provided at time of check-in. If you will be bringing a golf cart, please notify staff member when making a reservation.
FIRES: All fires must be self-contained. A fire ring is available for your convenience. Firewood is available at camp store for purchase. No outside firewood is permitted. DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS. Fires must be extinguished by 11 p.m. Please DO NOT DISPOSE OF TRASH IN THE FIRE RINGS.
GRILLS: Grills are permitted but NOT to be used on picnic tables, this is a fire hazard.
FIRE ARMS & FIREWORKS: For the safety of all campers and their personal property, fire arms and fireworks are PROHIBITED on campground property.
LIABILITY: SHENANDOAH VALLEY CAMPGROUNDS, LLC ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE (please see below).
Our goal at Shenandoah Valley Campgrounds, LLC is to ensure that your camping experience is a safe and enjoyable one. The above Rules and Regulations will be strictly enforced during your stay to maintain our goal. We reserve the right to evict anyone who violates the Rules and Regulations, destroys campground property, or becomes a disturbance. We are a family owned and operated campground and have the right to refuse services to anyone. If evicted, no refund will be given. We are not responsible for accidents or injury to our guests and/or damage of personal belongings while camping at our campground.

The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he or she does hereby release the campground, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities and agrees to indemnify the campground, its officers and employees against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities.
